  • Wear comfortable clothes & shoes – you’ll probably be walking around a lot.
  • Stay hydrated, and don’t forget to eat! It’s easy to ignore your body’s signals with so much going on at the event. We’ll have a pub open on site and lots of water available, but consider bringing a water bottle or some snacks too.
  • Bring cash, and keep photo ID on your person.
  • Don’t forget your phone charger! We will likely have a charging station available as well.

Frequently Asked Questions!

Q: What is Frag?
A: Frag is a video gaming term that means ‘to defeat, or to get a kill’. It started with a gamer losing his dad to cancer, and vowed to do something unique that he’s passionate about to raise awareness, funds and philanthropy in the community.

Q: Where does my money go?
A: 100% of all proceeds from Frag 12 are donated to The Lymphoma and Leukemia society of Canada.

Q: Do I need to bring my own computer?
A: If you are competing in any PC Tournament, you must bring your own computer to play. That includes your monitor, peripherals and cables. We’ll have extra peripherals/cables on hand but not enough for everyone.

Q: Where are the game rules?
A: The game rules are listed under the Games tab. Click on the game you’re interested in for more information.

Q: Can I compete in more than one game?
A: No. You cannot compete in different genres of tournaments. It is possible to play in every Smash Bros event because they do not overlap. Same with Magic.

Q: Do I have to Pre-Register to compete?
A: You have to Pre-Register for DOTA 2, CS GO, Overwatch, and League of Legends, and Smash Bros. You don’t have to Pre-Register for the other games to compete, but if we run out of spots for your game before the day of the event, you’ll be placed on the waiting list and may not get to play.
