Players must register as BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) to compete in CS:GO.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Bracketing

1. A maximum of 16 teams will be permitted into the tournament.
2. The tournament will start with a group stage of 16 teams split into 2 groups, with a total of 8 teams in each group.
3. Each team will play every other team in their pool once.
4. The 4 teams from each group with the best match record at the end of pool play will be seeded into the playoff bracket of 8 teams. The top team in Group A will play the fourth team in Group B, and the top team in Group B will play the fourth team in Group A.
5. The playoff bracket is Single Elimination. Quarter Finals are a Best of 1 series, while Semi and Grand Finals are a Best of 3.
6. The group stage and Quarterfinals will be played on Saturday, and the remainder of the playoff bracket on Sunday.


1.1 Code of Conduct
All players are asked to behave in a respectable manner towards each other as well as Tournament Officials. Insults, vulgarity and harassment of any kind are strictly prohibited and will result in penalty points and/or expulsions from event and future events. Players’ Steam accounts must be provided before tournament initiation.

2.1 Map Vetoes
All Map Vetoes and Map Choices must be made prior to the start of a match. The higher seeded Player must choose to act as Player A or Player B. In the event players do not have prior seeding preference, Player A and Player B will be chosen arbitrarily by the tournament referee or rock paper scissors. Player A must veto one Map first, then Player B must veto a Map. This process will be repeated until the number of maps remaining corresponds to the maximum number of games in the given match. If a match only has one game player A will veto the second last map leaving one map remaining. Because this is essentially a choice of map Player B will pick which side to start on. In a Bo3 match Player A will veto once, then Player B. Player A picks a map to play, then Player B picks a map to play. This will leave 3 maps. Player A bans a map and then Player B bans a map. Teams will knife for sides on all maps of a Bo3.

2.2 Map Selection
The vetoed Maps will not be played in the match. No Map may be played more than once in a match. No Map will be considered to have been used in a game that is forfeited

2.3 Pre Match
All matches are required to be played on the provided LAN servers. Use of outside applications to circumvent Steam or the provided servers is not allowed and you will be disqualified if you attempt to do so.
Teams are expected to be sitting at their assigned location 15 minutes prior to the start of their match. Any team not prepared to begin the match at the assigned time will receive an automatic penalty. Teams not prepared to compete within 15 minutes of their expected time will either need to play out the game regardless of the handicap, or forfeit the match.
Players are for whatever reason prohibited from leaving the team area unless first getting permission from a Tournament Official. Leaving the area without informing a Tournament Official will result in an automatic penalty to the discretion of the Official.
Players must set their status to BUSY during tournament matches. All official streamers/commentators/administrators are the only ones allowed to observe a match. Your match may be projected on the big screen.

2.4 Format
Round time will be 1:55 and Defuse time will be 0:40. First to16 points will win the game with 30 rounds. Maps will be selected on a veto basis, and sides will be decided by a knife round.
Group Stage matches will be best-of-1. Bracket Stage matches will be Single Elimination best-of-1 up until Semi and Grand Finals which are a best-of-3. In the event of overtime, mr3 with 10k money rules will be used to break the tie.

2.4.1 Team Format
All matches will be played with teams of 5 (5v5).

2.5 During Match
Players and teams may not begin matches before the scheduled time.
2.5.1 Disconnection
The three different types of disconnection are Server Crash, Unintentional Disconnection and Intentional Disconnection (also known as Game Leaving). In the event of a Server Crash, where multiple players lose connection due to an issue, with the server and/or platform; the game will be recovered from the earliest possible point or will repeat that current half if a single point cannot be restored. If a player is experiencing technical difficulties, the match must be paused and a Tournament Official alerted immediately. If a player is proven to have disconnected intentionally, then the offending player may be charged with a warning or penalty. In this situation, play will continue without stoppage. In the event of an Unintentional Disconnection or Server Crash, the following will be reviewed. The game will be recovered from the earliest possible point or will repeat that current half if a single point cannot be restored.

2.6 Post Match
After map completion, the winner will report the result to one of FFC official staff members immediately. In order to dispute Game results, Players must notify a Tournament Official that they would like to protest the game before a new game has begun. In order to dispute match results, players must notify a Tournament Official that they would like to protest the match no longer than 15 minutes after the end of the match.

3.1 Unfair Play
Upon discovery of any player committing any violations regarded as unfair play, the offending player or team; at the sole discretion of the tournament director or a group of referees, may receive a warning, a forfeit loss, or be disqualified from the tournament. Prize money may also be deducted as a % of the offending teams at the sole discretion of the Tournament Director in accordance with any policies that already exist.
During the course of the event, the board of referees may determine other actions to embody unfair play. Unfair play refers to but is not limited to:
a. The use of any outside program that gives an unfair advantage of any kind
b. The use of a game bug determined to be unfair by Officials
c. Intentional Disconnection
d. Collusion and/or intentionally losing a match
e. Unsportsmanlike or disruptive behavior such as inappropriate and/or unprofessional actions directed towards another player or tournament official.

3.2 Configuration Files
Configuration (or config) files will be allowed for the use of the tournament. All changes will be allowed provided they do not offer any unfair competitive advantage which could be considered cheating. Any settings which are deemed to offer an unfair advantage, will result in disqualification of the entire team. Any files uploaded onto the computers will be automatically stored for further review. A team may be disqualified after the event has commenced if their files contain illegal content. Even if the illegal contents of the configuration file are not used within the match, players will still receive disqualification.
Scripts will not be allowed except for Buy-Scripts, Demo-Scripts, Say-Scripts, or Nickname-Scripts.

3.3 Exploits
The following exploits or cheats are prohibited and will result in a forfeit of the game or match:
• Moving through walls, ceilings, or floor
• Pixelwalking
• Mapswimming
• Floating
• Flash bugs
• Throwing flash grenades under walls
• Silent planting
• Planting bombs from unreachable distances
Any other bugs not listed here will be reviewed at the discretion of the Tournament Official.
